In 2009 founder Dr John Wilson passed the business on to son Daniel under the banner head ‘70% of family businesses do not survive their first succession …' Daniel is determined to be in the 30% that survive this big step. I'm willing to wager he will, because he has been solely responsible for winemaking since 2003. For his part, John intends to continue pruning the vines wearing his 1970s green vinyl jacket when it rains.
