Wineries
Centennial Vineyards, a substantial development jointly owned by wine professional John Large and investor Mark Dowling, covers 133 ha of beautiful grazing land, with the vineyard planted to pinot noir (7.6 ha), chardonnay (7 ha), sauvignon blanc (4.2 ha), tempranillo (3.5 ha), pinot gris (2.7 ha), savagnin (2 ha), riesling (1.8 ha) and pinot meunier (0.2 ha). Production from the estate vineyards is supplemented by purchases of grapes from other regions, including Orange. The consistency of the quality of the wines is wholly commendable, reflecting the skilled touch of Tony Cosgriff in a region that often throws up climatic challenges. Exports to the US, Denmark, Singapore, China and Korea.
