Dr Russell Bourne is an anaesthetist and former GP at Mt Beauty, who has always loved the food, wine and skiing of North East Victoria. He completed his oenology degree at CSU in 2002 following his ’98 acquisition of the former Brown Brothers Everton Hills vineyard. He has since planted 1.6 ha of shiraz and viognier, with further Rhône Valley varietal plantings planned, including counoise. Since 2001 all wines have come from the estate vineyards, which have increased to 2.3 ha. Exports to the UK and the US.
