Agricultural scientist and consultant Allan Pankhurst and wife Christine (with a degree in pharmaceutical science) have established a split-canopy vineyard (pinot noir, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, sangiovese, tempranillo, semillon and sauvignon blanc). The first wines produced showed considerable promise. Pankhurst has had success with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Exports to China.
