Luigi Di Santo's death marks end of a Legend

The death of Luigi (Gino) Di Santo on 21 January 2010 marked the end of a living Legend of Melbourne Food and Wine, but his contribution will continue to be felt for decades to come through his daughter Rosemary and son-in-law John Portelli.  Enoteca Sileno is the licensed grocery where every conceivable Italian packaged food and wine can be found, the Vino Bar restaurant an ever-reliable extension of the dream that Gino had when he started business so many years ago.
