Media Release, January 22, 2010Wine tutorials return to Moncur Terrace, The Woollahra Hotel, Tuesdays, March 9th – 23rd.
The romance of wine, a series of consumer wine tutorials, will return to Moncur Terrace (The Woollahra Hotel) on Tuesday the 9th of March. The Romance of Wine concept has been developed to offer consumers an insight to the passion & romance that is so intertwined with wine, its terroir and its history. This passion is conveyed by selected wholesalers and winemakers who have the ability to ‘transport us’ to these regions through the wines and their stories.
The Romance of Wine series in March 2010 will focus on some of the cool climate regions of NSW and Victoria. Meet our presenters for the Cool Climate Series:
• Andrew Stewart, Vintage & Vine; Winemaker & Educator Presents Jasper Hill, Heathcote Vic & Battley, Beechworth Vic - Tuesday, March 9
• Alex Retief, Winemaker, Eden Road & The Long Road Wines Presents Hilltops & Tumbarumba, NSW - Tuesday, March 16
• Peter Logan, Winemaker, Logan Wines Presents Orange, NSW - Tuesday, March 23
Tutorials are held in the intimate outdoor dining area of the Moncur Terrace Restaurant.
Tutorials are an hour in length (beginning at 6pm sharp) and conclude with a tasting plate from the Moncur Terrace kitchen and a glass of wine.
Tickets are $35 per person (includes 1hr Tutorial, Tasting Plate & Glass of Wine).
Special retail offers are available to those who attend on the night. A limited number of seats are available for each session, bookings are essential.
