2003 Stonier Reserve Pinot Noir
Very fragrant, spicy cherry and strawberry aromas, then a silky light- to medium-bodied palate still retaining all the sweet fruits of its youth. A cork-finished wine which developed brettanomyces in some bottles but not others. I have happily lost the sensitivity I once had to brett, which makes my life much easier and more enjoyable. Wok-fried duck was the slightly clichéd food match.
